You broke the UI. It’s absolute garbage. OTA channels are completely screwed up. Favorites, then All Channels without any way to simply pick the view like before? No integration of OTA and Plex favorites in a single view? Everything takes more button presses than is necessary. The layout is awful.

My Roku Tv’s keep rebooting and buttons on remote quit working… You mean to tell me they pulled a Microsoft and put this out and NEVER TESTED IT?

Plex is pretty much completely broken on my Roku TV now. Can barely get streaming started. Once started, can’t pause, forward or rewind, the remote control is not able to navigate. What wad Plex thinking? Are they trying to shut the company down? They will have no users lift of they can’t quickly fix this. I really need to look into jellyfin, wish I didn’t become a lifetime member.
Agreed. Roll it back or allow us to customize it to suit our preferences. I paid for a lifetime license and to have the Roku interface completely undermined makes me regret supporting you.

Why are you cluttering my home page with recommendations and other streaming services? The point of my home server is to access my server, not other services. I want a streamlined interface.
Pulled up Plex on Roku tonight to find a complete mess. Totally unusable and causing Roku to crash.
PLEASE, PLEASE ROLL IT BACK OR OFFER AN OPTION FOR THE ORIGINAL INTERFACE.
How can any company screw up such a good program.
I will cancel my plex pass and install jellyfin tomorrow if this steamin load of garbage isn’t fixed. Pause doesn’t work, skip intro doesn’t work, play rarely works, I can’t browse or search my libraries. It is useless.

Doesn’t matter what we say. They do things the way they want. Example; How about introducing a feature that allows you to respond to or delete a “report an issue” message on your server after a user reports? Or a feature that lets you delete old stream statistics of a deleted user without having to edit the registry? Or build a set of database efficiency & corruption tools, check, repair, rebuild, optimize. Or fix the download feature. Or introduce a user mailbox for admin to user communication, an announcement mailbox for admin to all users. Allow for server code link login on all devices not just some. Polls for family and friends. Years of asking for these and Instead of useful innovation they break our Roku app ruthlessly on a Tuesday 
I never thought I would use Jellyfin. I always kinda laughed at the kind of people who use Jellyfin. Plex was for real media sharing, Jellyfin was just a toy. But with these updates, here I am creating a docker-compose file for Jellyfin. We’ll see how this week goes. Since everyone needs to reset their passwords anyways, it might not be a bad time to get the family to switch.
This is an outrageous UI alteration. I opened my Roku Plex app tonight to put on an audio book to sleep to, as I do every night, and BAM!!! that whole library is gone, as is my music library. Roll It Back!! Plex chose to copy Netflix’s Interface? the only thing worse than Netflix UI is Prime. Roll It Back!! People don’t use Netflix because of their cool UI, it’s because they have content that Plex just never will have. Roll It Back!! And the recommended view as the default view just dumb. Roll It Back!! I did finally find a setting under experience that let me change it back to alphabetical but still this new UI is clunky as hell and is just hot garbage. Roll It Back!! Plex, you’re never going to be a streaming service. It’s nice that you offer options for Live TV and some Streaming Content, but so does my Roku on other apps that work a hell of a lot better. You are a home media player. Roll It Back!! If Disney can’t make their streaming service work (-700,000 subscribers during Q4 of 2024) why do you think you can build up from a local media player to being a new one with no original content and all those commercials. You should have chosen to dump the Streaming Options (like you have many times before when it didn’t work) and just made the best dame local media player that is out there. But as usually with US companies you’re about Money not user experience so this is the way you’re going. I am so upset. Roll It Back, Please.
I have been using roku plex app for years and the previous UI was far superior to this useless junk. Roll back the roku version. It feels like it was never tested and functionally seems like alpha software. TERRIBLE USELESS JUNK! 
I’m in shock at how bad this update is. Who is at the helm there? It’s like the Cracker Barrel redesign team found new employment at Plex and brought their fresh new ideas with them. There is not a single thing I like about this update. It feels like a big disconnect with what has made Plex good in the past, and why so many of us were willing to pay for it.
I know the tendency is to defend your shiny new UI that you worked so hard on, but it’s a mistake. I think the smart play at this point is to save your user base and reputation by reversing course as quickly as possible.
Roll it back. Complete garbage of a UI from looks but even worse you can’t do anything. Navigation completely broke once watching a stream that is if you can even get it to play reliably. Plex you are trash now days. I feel Plex is purposely pushing longstanding user away. Plex you are not Netflix and never will be. Will be using Jellyfin here on out as I am tired of Plex cannibalizing its own product.

Go to the settings gear (top row right), go down to ‘experience’, then ‘default library view’ and set it to browse.
Yes, this UI is horrible. I just got lucky finding this setting.
