Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a severe slowdown in Plex. It’s taking much longer for it to match and pull metadata, and even longer to pull up the live TV and DVR grid. I know it’s not my connection, I just ran a speed test and got 180MBps up and 160MBps down. This is a slight inconvenience when trying to match new entries or update posters, but it really seems to be wreaking havoc with my DVR. Programs will not record, and I’ll have to refresh my DVR listings more often, which also takes several hours now instead of maybe 1 or 2.
I know update 1.23.6 broke my DVR completely and I had to revert to 1.23.5and follow this fix. Now I updated to 1.24, not sure if that’s part of the problem or not…
