S25 plex not seeing my chromecasts

Im on latest server and just upgrade phone from s10 to s25 and now with the plex app it doesnt see any of my chrome casts, ultras nothing. Tap to cast in app and shows nothing, rolled back to verson my s10 uses and it sees it all. Why is this happening?

Why is this happening?

Because Plex f… up the new app and rolled it out without proper testing obviously.

The concrete issue you are facing may be this though:

New Android app & Chromecast

The new experience app is delegating all the casting-related functionality to an external code library which specializes in this stuff, The former app used home-brewed code which relied much on the device’s inbuilt functionalities. Hence it now needs to access this new *.claspws.tv domain to do its work. (There is some work underway to resolve this dependency in future releases, so that you don’t have to grant this exception for all time.)
