Not sure what changed with this app, new app or new Samsung firmware but the app gets stuck loading. What I see is the splash screen then a blank background and nothing else. Just stays like that. All other players work just the Samsung
TV is a UN75NU8000 Running 1270 firmware with plex app 4.1.1.
Deleted and reinstalled Plex. No change. Updated server. No change. Reset network settings on TV. no change.
Is there any difference if TV wired or on wifi? I don’t think it has anything to do with server. since the app is not loading at all. Possible DNS issue maybe. Can you try google DNS
Not sure what the actual problem was but the issue resolved with the new server version. Updated my computer and added a plex pass for hardware transcoding. Downloaded newest server version and Samsung app started working.

I think I might be experiencing similar issues. On a Samsung Smart TV I can get the content from my library to run via the plex media server but the app is a blank screen with a few lines of code (not even an error) at the top. I can see the search bar and I can hear the sound the remote makes browsing through the content but I cannot actually see anything. Any suggestions to fix the app? The Web player is all up-to-date. But since I cannot see what I am doing in the app I cannot go to preferences and update it.
The “fix” mentioned in the post above yours was to update your server. Are you running an old server version? The current is 1.17.0.1841
go to Settings>General under your servers name (above remote access settings) and it will show the server version. (this is different than the web app version)
