On my Samsung NU7400 (Tizen 4.0) TV app version is displayed as 5.10.0 in the Samsung App store and doesn’t seem to be updated since April 2021. However in the Plex app version is displayed as 5.30.1.
Which one is correct and is there a way to fix it?
I have this version displayed and most likely it is correct
The version displayed in the Plex app is the correct version.
It should match the version displayed in the list of Authorized Devices: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices.
I’m probably not using the correct term, but the version displayed in the Samsung (and LG) app store is the “bootloader” version.
It is not a complete version of the app.
When you launch the app on the TV, it checks it a new version is available. If so, it downloads the current version to your TV.
