Samsung TV App - 5.32.1 - No updates Available

Trying to get to a newer version of this samsung tv plex app.

should be much newer than the one I just installed.

Tried deleting and reinstalling - still says this is the most recent version.

no spot to select update, no “reinstall” button.

Someone had a link to a samsung article about this but when I went there it was archived.

TV is 2017 model wil Tizen 3.0 so it should be ok for an update.

Anyone help?

Check the version number in the Plex app, not what is displayed in the Samsung app store.

I will take a look and see if I can see the current version within the app.

Somewhere in the Plex forum I thought I was seeing the current version of 5.93 or so with some regular updates. Are you saying those updates happen in the background, and the loader stays the same? I also saw some people saying their versions were going back to 5.32 and were higher before.

I will check and see what it says.

5.93 is current version on the app.

Like most people keep saying, the tv apps are really poor - because of the limitations of the tv
