Samsung client suddenly won’t work with new server build

Player Version#: 5.56.1

New server hardware. Now, 2020 and 2019 Samsung TVs won’t play much without an error. Enabling subtitles sometimes gets it to play.

I have all the insecure connection settings set correctly for the known Samsung problem. All other clients work fine with the new instance of the server. Old server had AMD processor, new one has Intel 12th gen.

Why did it decide to stop working for the new server?

I can’t see anything useful in the logs but can provide them once I am able to download them.

Any ideas? I thought it might be the codecs but deleted those and redownloaded. No dice.
