Samsung Frame (2021 - US version)

I am trying to play home movies on my tv and the aspect ratio is all wrong. I think it’s set as “fit” but I can’t change the option in the TV because it is greyed out.

I can play the videos on my playstation (on the same TV), my PC, my phone, and my tablets - and the video is not stretched, so it’s definitely the TV.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

I’m not sure why you are having the problem you have described but I am more interested in how you installed version 5.91.0. I’m stuck at 5.64.1 which is showing a release date of 1/24/2025.

Honestly? I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled. I didn’t even pay attention to what version I originally had.

In terms of the problem, it seems to be isolated to videos that were shot with Canon Elph cameras that have been rotated and rencoded as MP4. Videos shot with my Pixel or previous Samsung Galaxy phones don’t have this issue.
