Samsung Plex App glitching during playback

I am on the latest beta server and my Samsung tv TV UA55KU6000 version 4.15.2

smooth playback is impossible for some reason as the video keeps skipping and glitching (which works fine on my other devices , PS4, web etc)

is this a known issue ? how can I fix this ? there was a glitching issue previously and an update fixed this

Restarting my pc solved this - which is weird because until I did this I kept getting transcoder error.
