Samsung Plex app no longer connects without removing authorization

About two weeks ago (maybe a little longer), samsung autoupdated the app for Plex.
Since then, the Plex player never connects to my server.

I have to, every time i turn on my television,

  1. Go into server -> Authorized Devices and remove the Samsung TV.
  2. Turn TV on and launch Plex.
  3. Get code and relink to Plex server.

Works fine, 100% of the time but is a gigantic pain in the rump roast.
Every time the tv gets turned off I have to repeat this process or it cannot find my server.

Thoughts? Help? Ready to tear my hair out since we have 2 of these TVs, both with the same problem.

also there appears to be no way to uninstall or reinstall it to refresh the app. it is the March 13th version of the app update.

I have same problem since the app updated on the tv a few weeks ago, 3 Samsung tvs, all other devices are fine.

I am also having the same issue, but with an LG TV. Happened around the same time. Very frustrating!
