Samsung QE50Q60AA - No sound from HDHomeRun recordings (ts files)

I have recently purchased this TV and installed the latest version of Plex onto it. It plays all my music, TV Shows and Films that are usually in mp3, mp4 or mkv formats. However, when it comes to recordings from my HDHomeRun Connect the video plays but without any sound. These are ts files

I know the recordings are fine because they play perfectly with sound on my Sony TV, FireTV and Ipad.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem and is there a solution?

On a similar note the TV suffers from frequent buffering, when I try to watch Live TV through the HDHomeRun, whether the connection is through WiFi or LAN. My other devices listed above do not suffer from this.

Having played around with the settings I can get audio to play by turning off Direct Play in the files settings.

Surely this should not be necessary?

Have the designers who made Plex for Samsung not implemented aac_latm despite this being the format that Plex records Live TV from their recommended HDHome Run.

Am I the only one experiencing this issue?
