I want to know, if using the Plex app on that smart tv there will be any problems playing videos with DTS audio. Will be played through the app just fine or I need to make some changes in the settings?
55NU7102 doesn’t have support for DTS…
Plex clients can only use the capabilities provided by the Manufacturer, in this case no DTS.
So, in this case, there is no option to play the videos? Via Direct Stream or Transcoding?
You can play videos, the DTS will be transcoded by the server to a format the TV will accept.

due note, it is possible that this may cause transcoding 4k (which you don’t want), especially if there are subtitles involved.
