Hi.
I upgraded my PMS from 1.15 to 1.19 and one of my Samsung TVs no longer connects. When I loaded Plex after the upgrade it asked me to link my TV to my account with the pin code. I did that which worked, it then loads and I see the library’s on the left, but nothing else. It’s like it’s frozen at that point. I can’t click anything, no films or shows appear, nothing.
I can’t see what the problem is, anyone got any ideas? This worked fine on 1.15, no issues at all!
What model TV is the Samsung? I suspect your issue is with the older (unsupported) Plex app and is what’s being discussed in this thread with a possible workaround in this post:
If this new 1.19 version isn’t supported on my TV anymore (thanks for that if it’s the cause!). Can I roll back to a previous version? Sadly I don’t have the previous QNAP package anymore, does anyone have a QNAP intel download for say 1.18? I was on 1.15 so anything would be good to use.
I’ll give it a try and see if that works now. I managed to find a 1.18 version and it’s working on that one, so it’s definitely something in 1.19 that broke it.
