Samsung Issue after Upgrade

Hi all,

Just updated from: PlexMediaServer-1.18.8.2527-740d4c206-x86

Since updating when I connect to Plex from my TV it appears to connect to Plex no problems but it tried to load the library contents and fails, the client appears to lock up trying to grab the library inventory.

Not sure how to resolve this one, not sure if there is a rollback either.

Any ideas?

Update: tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on the TV. No go.

Strange thing is, I can ‘Cast’ to my TV when the App is running (yet seemingly frozen) and cast a show to it and this works.

Thanks for the replies all. Orca did a fantastic job for Samsung owners. I realised I was on v2. 012 and not v2. 013 and my TV is one model too old to get this update that Orca so graciously returned to make.

Unfortunately I can’t side load the USB version either.

The time has come! I purchased a Roku Ultra which I’ll have soon and it will be nice to be on a supported platform, for now atleast.

Consider this issue resolved.

And this has NOTHING to do with upgrading the app!
