Superbowl sunday. Can’t find the channel in plex for Samsung because it hasn’t deemed the pregame show important enough to show in “on now”. This is ridiculous.

My mistake. I ment to implement it (already). Works so great on other platforms.
I have to say that this is getting a little frustrating trying to find a show, because the “now on” (or whatever). Only shows shows, and only shows 5 shows at that. It doesn’t give the ability to expand that list (it did at one point) If it’s sports or a movie you have to go to the “Browse” section. That isn’t even consistent. Currently playing shows are sometimes at the top and sometimes they are listed alphabetically, with what seems to be 2 weeks of material.
I can see the benefits of the “Browse” when you trying to find something to record, But nothing beats the EPG when finding something currently on.
I’m pretty sure it was in the version of the app before UNO (even if it was for a short time)

Plex, while we’re waiting for grid view, could you at least bring back the functionality to choose from all your live TV channels, and not just eight random ones?
Yes the Samsung “Smart TV” is really pretty useless without the Guide, A $30 Roku Stick has more capability than all of Samsung smarts. It is really a joke. $700 smart TV is pretty much worthless. And it will only get more obsolete.

Any word on this yet? Just switched to Plex to use on my q80r and without the guide it is impossible to select OTA stations to watch. Not an expert here but since you have the architecture for the guide in so many other OS already shouldn’t the port over be fairly simple?

I’m sure it’s been said before, but yes there will be a grid guide. I cannot give an ETA though, but it’ll hit most of our devices once it’s ready.

Thank you for pursuing the creation of a grid guide. I have 3 brand new Samsungs 65", and want to cut the cord - but no way I’ll get spousal approval without the grid guide. I’ll wait but sure hope it is released soon! Thank you.

New lifetime pass purchaser here. Bought in strictly because I wanted a better Live TV & DVR experience. Brand new Samsung 75 Q6dr. Pretty ridiculous to plunk down nearly $130 for this and not find a simple TV guide in the Samsung app? Come on… get it done. I am going to get endless grief over no TV guide in here.

Piling on here as well, $2500 Samsumg TV should be > $30 Roku. We need the Sansung-Tizen guide please! 
I have a Samsung TV and an LG TV and both do not have a TV Guide with the on board plex app. Is this a licensing issue with the TV manufacturers?
