impossible to launch a 4K film… it transcodes automatically even if in the settings. quality at maximum distance: Unlimited

Plex will always resort to attempt transcoding your media if your tv cannot deal with the media as-is — e.g. if it doesn’t support the particular combination of video/audio/subtitle format/codec, resolution, bitrate, … or if the tv doesn’t support the network bandwidth required to stream the file as-is (e.g. if you’re using a wired port that’s restricted to 100 Mbps while your files max bitrate exceeds that… same if you’re on an insufficient wireless connection).

The „now playing“ section of your server‘s dashboard should give you a first indication as for why the media is being transcoded.

No, I think it’s because of the new Plex Tizen update, they used to work and now they don’t. There is another thread about the new version problem.
