I’m running my server on Synology NAS(DS118), have Sonos Arc+2 Surrounds+Sub, so it can be called True 5.1 as i watch movies in Russian and most of the content anyway is 5.1 DTS or DTS MA.
My TV is able to play Dolby Digital+ as well as Sonos Arc, but Plex is continuing to transcode audio to aac and not eac3. If i manually transode audio using ffmpeg everything is working flawlessly, but plex keeps downmixing to 2.0 aac.
I dont need Atmos to DD+(no Atmos content at all) i just proper DTS transcoding.
I disabled Multichannel enhansment as well as DCA audio in settings.
Please help to do sth with it, cause manual conv takes a lot of time, as all my files on NAS.

Plex cannot transcode to EAC3, only AAC or AC3 depending on your devices capabilities. Going to need logs to determine whats going on.
