Scan Library Files in new mobile version

The current IOS app has “Scan Library Files” as an option within a library. Will that still be available in the new version?

Hi Eric, Firstly, thanks for trying out the Plex Experience Preview!

As for the “Scan Libraries” option, we are still working through the final experience of the new app, so I don’t have an answer for you just yet.

If your looking for a solution now, please do check out the Plex Dash app which allows you to Scan Library Files, Refresh Metadata, Edit Artwork, and a host of other actions on your server.

DONT split everything; dont move literally everything to their own dedicated app…

We need a way in the new app to force a library scan. Plex amp does not have a way and the new iOS app does not have a way. Do I need to drive home to get on my computer to do this?

Ah yes! The whole driving home was meant as a joke as I knew you can just log into the web version, but you are correct I failed to look at the advice to use Plex Dash, DUH!
