PMS running on Windows 10 PC, media files on Synology NAS.
With the auto-scheduled scanning of libraries, PMS seems to get stuck on one TV Show according to the Activity icon, although the Alerts seem to suggest it has moved on to the next TV show in the list but TV show scanning does not complete and I have to force restart the PMS (cancel scan doesn’t work).
Oddly if I restart PMS and perform a manual scan it completes without issue, so this is only occurring on the auto-scheduled scans.
In both instances, nothing has changed in TV Shows, nothing new or removed.
Nothing obvious in the logs… For the TV show the Activity icon is stating, it says “skipping over directory… as nothing has changed; removing 9 media items from map.” However, for the TV show in the Alerts that it says it’s scanning, it says “scanning directory of 1st season of the said show; parent: yes” then nothing thereafter relating to why the scan won’t move on…
Movies seem to scan fine (the 1st library in the list).
Any ideas why the scheduled scan gets stuck but the manual scan completes without issue?
