Scheduled Tasks Not Running

Hi, my scheduled tasks on my server haven’t been running for quite some time now. I was hoping that this was maybe a big that would be fixed in an update but there hasn’t been an update recently and I’d like to get them back. Can anyone help with this? Thanks

How did you notice? Are you missing the database backups?
If so, make sure that your path under
Settings - Server - Scheduled Tasks - ‘Show Advanced’ - “Backup directory”
is valid and accessible during the server maintenance period.

  1. activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. start Plex Server
  5. wait for the server maintenance to elapse
  6. fetch log files and attach them here

Nah I noticed because video preview and chapter preview thumbnails aren’t being generated on files that still need them.

This could have other reasons. For instance the transcoder crashing while trying to create these.
Try to find the media item where it stops creating these thumbnails, by inspecting the logfiles immediately after end of the maintenance period.
