Currently there is no way to search a specific library. only the entire server.
I’d like to see a feature added that would make it easier to search ONLY a section of your library/plex-server
ie, search only the guide, or a specific library you’ve added. instead of searching all content on the server.
{Recordings, and Guide only show up for those with DVR, the rest are the libraries the user has added} {and an option for content types… etc…}
this would make searching for a TV show on DVR alot easier, or even another part of the library if your library has gotten quite a few subsections added to it over the years (i have about 15 ‘libraries’ atm… i’m sure i’m not the only one with a longer list of libraries.
PS. would it be possible to search multiple servers? ie: if you have access to multiple other folks servers (weather you have your own or not) make it possible to search all the servers shared with you for specific content. (maybe find a better quality version on a different server, or if you forget where you were watching something.)
This would be an amazing addition to Plex’s functionality.
