The search function doesn’t search the guide. I just want to make sure my results are correct. I click on Live TV & DVR, goto Guide, then search for a TV show that is listed right there on the same page (or else where in the guide) and it does not come back as found. Basically requiring an incredible amount of scrolling up/down and further to the right scanning for a show I want/need to record. I find it hard to believe this functionality isn’t there after paying for the plex pass. So I am just trying to make sure I am not doing something wrong before giving up on testing plex to see if we can switch to it.

Click on “Search all sources…” right beneath the entry box. The results shown will include those from Live TV & DVR.
Thanks! That does appear to work to search the guide. Its interesting that option isn’t available till after you run your search… Really should work when you have the resource to search open as others probably have the same problem, but I am glad I asked here before I put Plex down as an epic fail. Although not being able to add a show to record that isn’t in the guide will likely have me list Plex on my “not ready for Primetime list” till that is fixed.
