When I try to start a connection to the server on the same device (Win 11), I get the error: “Secure connections not possible” (or similar). In the help link I found:
" 1. Go to Settings > Server > Network in the Plex Web App (and toggle the Advanced settings to be visible)."
But I can’t find the “Server” in the “Settings”, even in “Advanced settings”. There is not such topic… I tried this with two servers on different PCs. Everytime I see both servers, but cannot connect, the same error. Can anyone help?
using what app? What URL? if using hte local IP have you tried with “https” or just using https://app.plex.tv
Hi BigWheel, I just used [https://app.plex.tv]. Is that wrong? Do I missunderstand anything?
If app.plex.tv is not working if you are on a windows try opening from the task tray open the server menu and it should have “Open Plex” option that should open it using localhost ip
