Hi all.
I’ve got a question, I hope you can help with.
Is it possible from a Plex server, to enforce that a user has to have PIN (code) enabled to see content ?
I’m running Plex Media Server (latest version) on a Synology 1515+.
Best regards.

To access a server, each user has to authenticate itself with a plex account already.
What is your use case?
Do you have a ton of ‘managed’ users? Put PIN codes on every one of them, including you.
Hi Otto
My concern is that alot of HW only needs logon one time, but i would like to ensure that it’s needed every time you longon using the PIN.
is that possible ?
You mean like the phone or tablet getting stolen?
All you can do is to disable ‘automatic logon’ in the settings of each client and put PINs on every user account.

Thanks mate, yes, kids phones and iphones etc - i’ll make sure all use PIN, would just be easier to enforce it serverside ![]()
