I’ve been struggling with the subtitle selector, the problem is, theres “Português (Brasil) - pt-BR” and “Português - pt” but they both appear to select as “Português”.
Any fix?
Plex uses ISO language codes for subtitles. There is only one code for Portuguese, pt, so there is no way to delineate between different dialects (Plex is ignoring the “-BR” in the file name).
As a workaround, you could use a different language for one of the dialects. For example, you could use the code for an ancient or extinct language which would be very unlikely to appear as actual subtitles in a movie/TV show.
