Selecting another Plexamp Device - Anybody know if this feature is back?

I think I have read that in plexamp 3.0 the ability to see and select another plexamp player was not working as in prior versions. Does anyone know when and if Plex will support using one plexamp to control another plexamp player/device?

I am trying to control my mac mini in a headless mode and it is running plexamp 3.4. I am also running plexamp on my mobile device and want to select the mac mini as the device to play/control.

It has been indicated that it is a future development goal.

Thanks Jason. Do you use any equipment to stream to your hi-fi system?

Chromecast for streaming Plexamp to hifi system.

I reverted to plexamp 1.1 on my Windows 10 PC, while we’re still waiting on the ability to cast to plexamp, and I’ve found that using plexamp 3.4 on my android to make mixes and radios to cast to the PC still provides the new features and gapless playback for a headless plexamp experience.

I know this doesn’t help your question exactly but at least it’s a workaround that I’m finding more satisfactory in this type of situation, at least until plexamp-to-plexamp casting returns in the new version.

Although I wasn’t around for the previous iteration of this feature, I too would like to see its return please.
