Separate On Deck/History for Users/Friends

I have multiple friends setup on my library. I don’t like that everyone shares the same “history”. Example: If I’m halfway through watching an episode of a show and then pause it, a friend can then try watching the show and it is set to start at halfway. They then start the episode from the beginning and my progress is lost. Also, the on deck is unified across all users/friends. Is there a setting I’m missing?

Are you using the trakt.tv plugin?

No. I am not.

Are you sure your friends are logged in as their own user? When they are watching something, check the user name on the Now Playing screen.

What you describe should certainly not be the case, are you using any other Channels/Plugins with Plex?

Sorry for hijacking the thread but I see the same behavior as the OP. I have two friends, the first one was added about two years ago and the second one about 6 months ago. I see the described behavior only for the friend recently added.

I have PlexPy installed and I can see that both users are signed in with their user names. Both users are remote (not on my Lan).

Running PlexInc Docker as well as PlexPy Docker. Have Trakt.tv, Sub-Zero, WebTools, IPTV installed plus a few Play plugins.

If you use trakt then this is most likely the culprit.

Thanks, will test and report back.

Edit: Reconfiguring Trakt solved my problems!
However previous “history” already on deck (before the fix) needs to be removed manually.
