Hello Plexers. Long time user, first time poster. Been having a quite annoying issue for quite a while and would love to hear if anyone else is having same issue or (better yet) a solution.
My Plex server installed on Ubuntu Server 16.04 runs like a dream. On such server, there’s a main account (me), a managed user (for the kids, sharing 2 libraries with them), and 3 friends (one is quite active, one watches occasionally, one barely uses his account)
The issue I have been having for quite a while is that many times (not always), when the kids or my friends watch something on their accounts, it syncs to my main account. Many times I get ready to watch a movie or TV show and realized that there are one (or many) episodes on my continue watching area that I have not started. I have Plexpy installed on same server (via Docker) and how I realized who really is watching those episodes / movies. Anyone experiencing a similar situation?
In case it helps, on my server Plex is not running on Docker, but Plexpy is. All my media is located on an external NAS (Synology) Been planning on running Plex on same Docker, but last time I tried, it gave me plenty of permission issues.
Thank you in advance, Good day Plexers…
