I tend to watch all media from my library with subtitles on, so my subtitle mode is “Always enabled”. However, that also sets live tv to always have subtitles (closed captioning) enabled. Many OTA channels near me will throw the subtitles wherever they see fit, so we end up having to just disable them when watching live tv. It’d be nice to have an option to set subtitle mode for personal media and for live tv separately, otherwise I have to disable subtitles on live tv any time the channel is changed, which given its nature (SO MANY COMMERCIALS) is fairly frequently.
