If you don’t update the app (yet), you might be able to remove the Sync job from the Plex app on the tablet.
Otherwise you’ll have to install and use Tautulli
I don’t understand how this could be an old sync job when this is new content I just added to my server …and I have no downloaded content on my tablet.
I click on “sync” and there is a note about sync capability being replaced by downloads …“These items will be removed from this device at the end of 2021. Use download action to replace them”
…and it list my movie category which must relate to my one mp4 file in transcode cache.
…ok so I click manage …getting storage location unavailabe for an old sync job …and I deleted it. It was one movie totally unrelated to the series it’s optimizing.

You have only checked 1 device. the log files says there are sync jobs active from 3 different devices.
one of those other ones is an empty folder
It might get some content if you let the transcoder process running for a while.

I am going to feel like fool for bothering you if it’s just a client trying to download it …I have never known him to use this feature. I always did it for him …and for him to coincidentally que it up immediately after i added it …and I saw zero client activity when it happened …and I am pretty sure he didn’t watch the first season!
In the future I will try to decipher my own logs before coming here…
