The Monsters Series - The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (2024) isn’t being addressed, even when I manually search for the link.
Plex thinks it its Ed Gein Story
I’ve read several things about it here on the forum, but I haven’t really found a direct solution. Is it true that there is no solution due to a miscommunication in the database?

I have it like this: “monster > Season 2 (2024) > s02e01 - blame it on the rain
But if I search manually under “Adjust Link,” I should be able to find it, right? I can find season 1 and season 3 that way, but not season 2.

Do all files follow the same naming and are the same permissions?
When I search, this is what I find.
Is this the search?
I temporarily watched only 1 episode of season 2 to test and try.

You’re showing me the Series poster. That’s correct
Now go to Season 2 and EDIT it.
You’ll be able to select the season poster
Notice my naming is very generic here (for demonstration)

[chuck@lizum tv.2000]$
it works great thank you.
I’d love to keep these three seasons separate as a sort of separate miniseries. That’s possible with season 1, Dahmer, and season 3, Ed Gein, but unfortunately not with season 2. no separate link has been created for this
Update: He recognizes seasons 2 and 3, but he doesn’t include a cast, description, etc. for seasons 2 and 3. Is that the case for you too?
I now have the folder: Monsters Season 1-3 >
Season 1 (2022)
Season 2 (2024)
Season 3 (2025)
One of the file names in season 2 folder: S02E01 - Blame It on the Rain
Do you know what i do wrong?

No, it still doesn’t work. The word wasn’t properly removed from the database or something. I do it differently for every other series, and it works everywhere, but when I do it as you suggested, it doesn’t include any information for seasons 2 and 3, such as the cast, descriptions, episode names, etc.
When I change the link from Ed Gein Story to Monster, I get this:
following tvdb naming it should be: Season 2 The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story
but Plex probably want like that.
Still weird Plex put Ed Gain as Season 2.
Yeah, I also think it’s weird that he’s calling Ed a joke as season 2. That’s why it seems like something’s not quite right.
I always have the names like that, and it just works everywhere, unfortunately, with this series.
Which “Episode Ordering” has been selected in the properties of the show?
(on the “Advanced” tab. Ensure you are on the top level of the show, and not on the Season or Episode level, when pressing Edit.)
I don’t quite understand what you mean
I’ve edited the images myself, but seasons 2 and 3 still don’t have any information from the database.
I am not referring to the images.
All the posters and descriptions are there without editing anything else.
The only flaw is the episode title of s01e01, which simply says “Episode One”. But all others are correct, as far as I can see.
now it works if I have set episode ordering to tvdb.
Thank you all very much!
