I have done a fair amount of searching around on this topic - have seen similar posts. But this seems a little different. I am running the server on MacOS and recently went to Live TV. I have 1 recorded show and yet the server continually scans the recordings and gets stuck. As it is continually scanning the TV Recordings, no other content is scanned and performance takes a hit. If I cancel scanning of the library, it cycles through the other libraries and then immediately gets stuck on TV again.
In the meantime, since I just started using the service and didn’t have anything meaningful recorded, I deleted all content. In fact, I created a new repository for recorded material and removed the old repository. I then restarted the service and it appears to be fine now. I will record a show or two to have content in the repository and then will see what happens.
