I have a Plex Server running on a Mac Pro which is located in a different city.
As a Plex Pass user, I could access this server remotely without any problems until I tried adding an additional plex server (running on my MacBook) to my account.
As soon as I added the server on my MacBook, Plex seems to have forgotten about the existance of my other server on the Mac Pro (which has all of my files!). Even after having deleted the server on the MacBook, it will not show me any sign of my main server…
When I go to ‘devices’, the only server it shows is my Mac Pro server (which is active) but it only tries connecting to the server MacBook. I have removed the Plex Media Server from the MacBook and have tried pressing ‘remove server’ when Plex could not find the MacBook server anymore. Nevertheless, Plex tries connecting to the MacBook server and does not even show me the server of the Mac Pro or any of its libraries.
I really, really hope that someone can help me because with the cornona crisis it’s not possible for me to physically access my server and try to figure out what’s wrong.
