My server has dissapeared?

It would seem my server has dissapeared. I still have access to my friends server remotely, but I can’t see mine anywhere, nor is there any option to add another server or recreate it.

Been through the entire platfrom? Why would my files and server not be recognised anymore? Any advice?

Thanks

You’re not giving us much to go on…
Maybe start with the simple questions:

Some additional basic infos: what version of the Plex Media Server app are you running on that Mac?

Did you check in the walls? :stuck_out_tongue:

I suppose the modern days equivalent would be the server blipping back when the Avengers get the infinity stones back from Thanos and reverse the universal wipe

Thank you for your response.

  1. My server is up and running as per the icon in the top bar of my Mac

  2. I have tried both those links and followed your guidance, alas no server is visible.

The only server I can see is my friends 'SANJMATHARU which I have access to via his permission and the standard ‘PLEX’ - mine is nowhere to be seen. Screenshot below:

I am running version: Version 1.19.4.2935-79e214ead

Any other ideas?

I see 2 possible scenarios…

You joined your friend’s Plex Home

Your friend might have invited you to their Plex Home instead of inviting you as “friend”. This way you might end up as a “managed user” vs. being recognized the admin of your own server.

You’re signed in with a different user account than the one your server has been associated with

If you created a different Plex account and signed in as that after signing in your Plex Media Server to your previous Plex account, you will no longer be able to access that server. If you locked yourself out this way, there’s a procedure to remove the server’s account assignment. This will allow you to open it locally and sign-in with your current user.

Thanks, I will give this a try
