Recently, I purchased PLEX Pass. However, when I tried to download the Server it is not downloading. I lose my internet. I have to uninstall the PLEX server and restart the browser to access internet.
I read a lot of information on the Forum and did Google search with no success. I had installed the server 8+ months back and deleted I am at a loss. I request PLEX to refund me and they are not helpful.

I’m a bit confused.
Downloading/installing a Plex Media Server shouldn’t be linked to having or not having a Plex Pass in the first place.
From where are you trying to download the Plex Media Server app (I assume that’s what you’re trying to do)… do you mean by starting the download, your system can no longer access the internet? That doesn’t so much sound like an issue with Plex but something fishy going on with that browser, the host machine or maybe some config in your home network.
Do you experience the same if you’re attempt to download the Plex Media Server from https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-media-server using a different browser?
Please check if you ISP has any sort of security feature that may be blocking plex urls. We have had a few reports recently of folks losing internet and all were related to their ISP security features blocking domains/urls they decided were a problem.

Thanks. Agreed, nothing to do with Lifetime pass. I am trying to download using a Desktop and a laptop. I tried Chrome and Edge browsers. I can download the Server but when I try to open it, it does not open. In next 2-3 mins, I lose Internet. I have to uninstall the PLEX and then close all browsers and restart the browser. I tried everything. I am suspecting it is Proxy or modem setting but I do not know how to fix it.
@vikrantchidgopkar not sure what ISP you have but those other two posts i linked were users with Century Link and BrightSpeed ISPs. Just had another user with Verizon Fios that had a similar problem and he mentioned the setting he had to change to fix it.

My FIOS setting is set-up my Firewall from medium to low and PLEX Server Downloaded. After I download my music, video and photos, should I go back to Medium on my FIOS?.

I don’t have FiOS so I have no idea what there settings mean. That other post was talking about something specifically called “Home Network Protection”

For past week, I was busy and out. I checked today after a 7-8 days. My Virzon FiOS selling is lowest. However, I am still not getting it. Either I get PLEX server or Internet. I tried to add server port and again I am having the same issue.

I’ m not clear if you followed the advice from @Stellarspace linked in my previous post. Do you have a verizon Fios? Do you have the FiOS app
