<server> is currently unavailable Verify you have a network connection etc

@ChuckPa Now my server on the plex site says it is unreachable but was working fine, it works on my shield just fine.

it is reachable again, this is very strange. My buddy is also going to try changing USB cables as a test as well.

One other thing I noticed, is sometimes the server is fine, then I scroll through the library, maybe mark a movie watched and the poster art stops loading and there are missing entries in the list, like it only shows 4 movies in a role with 2 blank movies instead of 6. A screenshot is attached, and this happens right before I get an error saying there is no content or can’t connect. @ChuckPa

Please stop Plex and make a tar.gz of the Logs directory then attach that tar.gz here.

What you’re showing me is that the server is responding but is damaged internally somewhere.

@ChuckPa I will ask my buddy to provide the logs, would any logs from my end be helpful?

@ChuckPa it seems to be working again. Deleting the second server that you found fixed the connection issue. Then we changed some hard drive permissions, changed the Secure Connections setting to “Required”, and changed ports and cables and it seems to be working again. I don’t know what fixed it, but I think it was changing the connection settings to required. If it breaks again I will send you some logs.

The only issue I am still having is when I look at a movie, mark it as watched, remove it from, or add it to the playlist the library restarts at the top of the library or playlist on the Android Player app.

Good that you got the networking resolved.

I can’t really speak to the player app per se.

I use Nvidia Shield here and don’t have any playlists.
Sorry.

@ChuckPa if you wanted to test it you can have only a few items in the playlists and then just look at one. But the issue seems to be happening again where it says there is no content available. Once my buddy is back in town I will see if he has any logs.
