Created a new library for 4k videos. I put Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2 in the folder while I test. Two separate video files with different names (part 1 and 2).
PMS is putting them in as one move, even combining the length. In the info is shows both videos.
I have had it merge two movies together before with wrong matches and I was able to “unmerge” them, there was an option to. There is not now.
What the hell is going on??
Please provide the exact filenames.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.mkv
Name them
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 (2010).mkv
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011).mkv

Not really. Plex looks for “partX” in the filename to determine if its a multi-part movie

Close, yeah, they are very close. That’s why you add the year to EVERY movie you put into plex. NEVER leave the year out. Plex will not match or match wrong in alot of cases.
An example, Do Not Disturb or Forever Young.
What to pick, what to pick, there is so many to choose from… Always include the year.
