I had recently changed the ip address on my computer, and when going to plex it went to the new address for the server. Now after changing the ip address again the server is no longer showing up on the old ip address or the default when it was first created. I dont know how to fix the issue, and i have uninstalled the app and re-installed it and still nothing has been fixed.
After changing the IP address, you need to shut down the server.
Wait a few moments, then start it again.
Give it time to report your new IP address to plex.tv
Give plex.tv time to give your server a new TLS certificate.
Then reboot your client devices, so they are forced to contact plex.tv and ask for the address.
That was the first thing that i did. Now the website where i would find my server does not have any server on the authorized account settings. Now it just says looking for servers it has been this way for maybe ten minutes now.
