I have a readynas Rn516 with plex running on it. I ve been using for sometime, 2 years. I have various devices which run plex client apps. My samsung Tv, a couple of Roku, ipad ect. The day before yesterday We watched things just fine. The Yesterday it wasn’t working. Nothing changed. I didn’t mess with my router or any settings on the Readynas but now we are getting “Server settings are unavailable” I’ve looked at the plex help for this issue and all the suggestions don’t seem to apply. I did download and install the latest version of plex server hoping that the issue would be fixed, but still the same Server settings are unavailable. Please help. Again nothing has changed in the setup of my system from when it was working a couple of days ago to now. My router is Asus RT-AC88u I dont have the firewall on, and I dont have the antivirus on on my readynas. It was causing windows explorer massive problems. But as stated all of this set up has worked fine for a long time, then suddenly it is not. The odd thing is that I have another user “Kids” with rating restrictions enabled and this shows up. Please Advise. No Proxies or vpn are running. and I cant access any server settings at all.its been like this for two weeks now. DO I need to Just start over? I have had Plex Pass for a couple of years now. How do get some support to solve this problem?
Are you accessing Plex Web through the local IP or plex.tv/web ? Have you rebooted the ReadyNAS unit and made sure that PMS is running? Do you get any error code / message besides not available?
Well the server has to be running since the Kids User is showing up. and Yes i’ve tried both web app and local. Ive also rebooted my NAS and Just now installed another latest version of Plex
you can see from above the nas is showing up in the user “kids” but it is not when I select the main user. Also i have another server called Markssurface for when we are on the road in our camper. I run it on my laptop. But my main usage is on my NAS. Again its been set up this way and worked for a year. Seems like there is come corrept directory or something

I even tried removing the laptop server and no NAS was left
Have you tried clearing the browser’s cache? Something might be stuck.
