Server not claimed after changing password

So I’ve updated my password today and plex decides that my server is now unclaimed and must reclaim it

Surely this is a bug in the product as changing your password should not result in this message and telling me I must reclaim my own server, and looking at other posts it seems this issue goes back to 2015

If you have ticked the checkbox “Sign out all connected devices…” during the procedure, then yes, this is what happens.

This doesn’t relate to the message that once signed in, I had to reclaim my own server, I wasn’t locked out, it just said ‘this server is not claimed and to claim it’ then go through the process of setting up the viewing again.

No other product does this and asks me to reclaim my account or services when I change password, so why does Plex. If I change my email, facebook, twitter, google, amazon, passwords or email addresses they don’t they tell me I must reclaim my account and set it up again.

This is a bug in the working of your product and really should be sorted
