Cannot claim server anymore

I was running PlexMediaServer on a dedicated laptop, running linux mint.
It used to run fine… but I changed my Plex password the other day.
I briefly got a “you do not have access to this server” message before the server disappeared completely from my interface.

I believe it is unclaimed, but I cannot find any way to re-claim the server. It is not listed on my devices menu. I’ve checked to make sure the server is actually running, which it is.

I’ve also removed and reinstalled PLEX Media Server twice in the hopes of restarting the whole process. I simply cannot get PLEX to find the server.

Any suggestions as to where I’ve gone wrong, or what I should do?
Thanks!

When you change your Plex password it unclaims any servers on your account.

If you’re on the laptop, you should be able to go to http://localhost:32400/web, login, and claim the server.

You might also try GitHub - ChuckPa/UserCredentialReset: User Credential Reset utility for Plex.

Thanks. The localhost login just brings me to my home page with no option to find or claim my server.
I will try to follow the GitHub directions as soon as I get a chance.
