changed my dns to 1.1.1.1 helped downloading the setup file after i failed to do it in the last few days.
However, now, after I installed the server, it won’t start. just keep being stuck and not loading, no matter what i do. tried changing browser, installing the windows app, nothing helped. whenever i want to add media, i am asked again to install the server app, even though i just did it a minute ago.
In order to complete the setup you need to open your Plex Media Server through its local IP.
If you’re on the same device… open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in your browser. If you’re on a different machine inside your home network, use http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web instead. This will bring up a wizard/dialog where you can name your server and link it to your Plex account (as well as creating your first libraries).
Once you “claimed” your server (=linked it to your Plex account), you’ll also be able to access it from other Plex apps or via http://app.plex.tv/desktop.
thanks for your reply. sadly, it did not work. pressed the link you provided while using the device where the server is installed. the server still does not work

maybe it’s worth mentionig that i had a plex server for many years. it suddenly stoped working and i have been unable to access the server ever since.
Can we get a copy of your server logs? odds are something is going on.
