Server not powerfull

Server Version#: 1.18.9.2578
Player Version#: 4.22.3

i have recently come to notice that some files do not want to play locally on my pc, these are pretty small 1GB anime files that are 1080P MKV files,i have watched these myself via plex in earlier days even remotely, but now i get the error “This server is not powerful enough to convert video.”

I do not understand what is going on…

Use one of the dedicated Player Apps instead of Plexweb:

Plex Media Player:

Or

Plex For Windows:

The link says ‘server’, select the app when you get there - Plex For Windows looks most like Plexweb, so you’ll never know the difference, apart from it being to play most everything you throw at it.

Seems like that worked image
the file played in local media player thanks, but how will this affect other devices,if i want to watch it on the go on my phone etc.?

Typically you’d ‘Optimize’ a version for your phone when on the go and play that instead of the full version.

7Mbps HEVC will be quite a challenge ‘on the go’ - unless you make other arrangements. With Plex’s Optimizer or Handbrake.

This’ll be easier:

If you are REALLY on the GoGo - like gone right out of cell coverage - better use the sync feature:

Should be pretty easy - I can’t keep from hitting the dam button in Plexweb - as it’s right next door to ‘Played/Unplayed’ and looks almost identical - to me.
