“Server settings are unavailable” on Plex server 1.22.1.4271

I’m new to this Plex Pass. I have the Lifetime Plex Pass thing. Is that what it is? I still can’t access any new betas? Can anyone help? Thank you. I usually update once a month, and just got this new beta 4274 today. Haha, I read about the errors and the fix to 4275, but still can’t find it.

@RRPAW

You mean until I share my ‘deep feelings about today’s joyous events’ ? :man_facepalming: :gun:

Yeah I was in boat 2 just takes a second. Uninstall, then manual install.

honestly - I didn’t even think to post here because I thought it was an April’s fool prank originally - because I have been doing updates on Plex/Synology on the daily for two years without a single hiccup :slight_smile:

@michsu

From above:

TO ALL HERE:

A problem in the build system caused today’s train wreck.

We’ve got it back.
I’ve tested on Debian and it’s all working.

PMS 1.22.1.4275 is deploying to Public now.
PMS 1.22.2.4276 (if it passes testing) will deploy to Beta?

I wish this were a prank

Hi ChuckPa, how do you access those? Thank you. Sorry, I didn’t want to bother you and hope others would have helped.

I’m trying to install 4275 from 4274 and it’s telling me i cannot roll back to older versions… makes NO sense… it’s a newer version!

So I’ll just wait for the 4276, since I had already installed 4274. Thanks.

@cowbawx

Which vendor?

If syno, uninstall and reinstall lower – it’s safe
If Linux, uninstall and reinstall lower – that’s safe too

This IS the linux thread :wink:

No, it is newer but the 1.22.2 is after than the 1.22.1, which is what you are trying to install (last digit before the 4274/4275.

In package manager click on the Plex Media Server then choose “Uninstall” from the pop up, then manually install. That should take care of it

Syn… safe = no difference in config? I’m using the file in the link you sent above… im in NY too and i dont see the newer version posted. thanks!

Thanks!

Yes. Syno is safe to uninstall. (I’m the Syno dev )

If you delete the “Plex” share … then you get beaten :rofl:

Oh good to know! :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanx ChuckPa - got the 1.22.2.427x and it works. Bravo.

(have a feeling you might here from me again).

Fixed with 122.1.4275 :slight_smile: thanks

This was working for me, but now isn’t again. I’m already on 4275. Why? :frowning:

seems i have to stop the plex service and restart to resolve… but it happens again.

“Server settings are unavailable.”

Same here, restart required to resolve.

But I’m on 4276 (linuxserver.io docker 1.22.2.4276-3cbd5e781).

(and @ChuckPa Seems unless i stop the service in syno and then restart it, not only cant i access settings, i cant even view libraries.
