Server shows up as unreachable after reboot

Server Version#: Debian 1.40.3.8555-fef15d30c.deb
Player Version#: Web 4.131.1

Hi all. I run headless Ubuntu 24.04 on an old Acer Aspire 1 laptop. It hosts the Plex Media Server and is connected to an external drive.

I ran the usual updates for Ubuntu and performed a reboot of the computer earlier today. Everything looks fine, but none of the Plex apps show that the server is online.

Notes:

  • I can ping the laptop successfully.
  • I can SSH into the laptop successfully.
  • I’ve disabled and reenabled UFW to see if that was blocking.
  • The plemediaserver process shows that it’s active but in S+ instead of running (I don’t even know if that is relevant).
  • I’ve tried going to the localhost and through plex.
  • I checked that the Plex version is the most recent version.
  • I have not tried downloading and reinstalling the .deb file.

At this point I’m fishing if there are any other ideas.
