After a couple of years, Plex stopped finding my movies. Getting a “Playback Error - Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.”
I have confirmed that the drive is mounted and the movies will play directly from my iMac finder.
Over 1,000 hours invested in ripping, loading and managing my library.
Any thoughts from anyone?
so sounds like the media scanner finds your movies but you are unable to play back the item?
How are you mounting this drive?
can you try and plan an item and gather your log and post it here?
