Server stopped reading library / unable to add back

I store everything on a remotely hosted Linux server that I streamed from via FTP. After the last update my library stopped being accessible. After trying a couple things on the server end I removed it thinking I could just add it back. However there is now no add library option. For TV/Movies all I can select on the three dots is pin or unpin. When I click on YOUR MEDIA there is no option for me to add a server, only for me to download the application for the server.

I’ve clicked through every menu option and everything in settings. I simply can no longer find the option to add media. I am logged in as the admin user.

Ideas?

try an ssh tunnel to it so it behaves as if you are on local host.

I don’t have the option to add a library or any content at all (beyond linking streaming accounts) which I believe is the crux of the issue. If I can determine why I can’t even add local files I think I can figure out the rest. I am missing all of the buttons in my UI to be able to do so however.

I gave up and nuked the whole install and reinstalled. Working fine now.
