Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238
Player Version#: All
Long story short: I was in the middle of watching something and it just suddenly stopped.
Everything suddenly went away. The menus said the server was unavailable. I checked my NAS and everything was still running fine as far as I could tell. I tried multiple devices and web, and nothing worked. Eventually I just decided to uninstall Plex and reinstall.
Well now Plex is running again, but it’s the same situation — nothing’s working. I opened the web app from my NAS, the interface loaded, and I claimed the new server. This would be my only source, but it doesn’t show up in the sidebar.
Plex in the screenshot below is running on my NAS. I get the interface but no media sources.
Thanks! I’m back up and running, and surprisingly the libraries on this server look exactly like they did previously, even though I uninstalled Plex. I’m guessing that either some settings didn’t get deleted, or Plex saw that this library had the same name as the old one. The big thing here that helped, however, was to check permissions for Plex after uninstalling it.
My setup is based on this guide, so it would be a big change to make it as you suggest.
I’m still not sure why it would suddenly stop working in the first place though. Any thoughts on that?

I am having the same issue on my QNap NAS drive. I updated the Plex software on my QNap NAS drive with the latest software version for my QNap NAS, but for some reason my server is not listed on the Plex home page online, my QNap server is no longer listed as the server, and I dont see any where on the Plex WebUI where I can add a server. Usually any media servers that is linked to my Plex account is listed in the top left corner but now there is no option to add a server. I also check the Plex installation on my QNap drive and everything is running normally so I dont know what the issue is but I bet it has something to do with Plex. I hope they fix this asap.
NO help, I follow your suggestion but not work.(even delete preferences.xml file) now the massage is ’ Media server not found. The server you’re trying to access doesn’t seem to exist.’
I didn’t use any virtual adapter, but there is a virtual Ubuntu system running at my docker, virtual machine manger suit also running at my NAS, and now both is removed or uninstalled. and, I uninstalled Plex again, reinstalled it but still shows ‘Media server not found’ after running. here is the new logs.Logs.zip (88.6 KB)
I am open Plex at local network or DDNS with the same result. and I already follow your instructions for many times, not working. also I don’t think it is a problem of synology version problem because I have use plex for a long time( more than one year), this problem just happens suddenly few days ago. I don’t know why```
