Media Server Not Being Recognised by Plex Anymore

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.19.3.2764-ef515a800-x86_64
Player Version#: 4.30.2
I have lost my connection to the Plex media server that has been happily running on my Synology DS916+ for a number of years now. Since the begining of the week I have been unable to access my media, with the server server appearing offline.

I have installed the latest plex media server package and launched plex directly from the server (via DSM). However, I cannot see my server within the settings menu anymore. Bizarrely, when i click on the Your Media option it is asking me to Get PLEX Media Server, even though Plex browser is launched from the server? I can see this in the url -> http://mynas:32400/web/index.html#!/get-plex-media-server.

I have checked the folder and user permissions within control panel on the server and can see that the Plex account has read and write access to the relevant media folders. Would appreciate any help on this!

Thanks

Thank you for feedback. I have tried steps 1-8 which did not work. Interestingly I am unable to locate the Plex folder path listed in step 3a on my NAS? I can only see the folders I have created, is there a setting allowing me to view files and folders installed on the NAS itself?

Thanks I have managed to locate the Plex folder now and removed the preferences.xml file. I have followed the steps 1 to 8 including step 3a and still the same.

I have noticed that my NAS server is not reappearing within the authorised list of devices having removed that earlier. I have also noticed my NAS is marked as offline from my mobile app.

Hi, unable to make any progress so attaching my logs as requested. Let me know if I can provide anything else that may help with the trouble shooting.
Thanks

Hi, just rebooted the router and NAS which looks to have solved the issue. Little annoyed at myself for over looking such a simple solution… Thank you for your help!
