I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help. I am desperate to find a fix or get this back online.
I have a dedicated windows desktop that hosts the plex server. This is a windows 10 pro system. I have 4 external hd plugged into my host pc that have all my movies, tv shows, documentariers on them. My media is in folders for each of the hds. I have a significant amount of media files. I have been using plex like this and watch through my fire tv over my tv for years with no issues. Recently i purchased a hd home run, set it up with plex, plex found it and the channels i searched with the hd homerun interface. I changed a few settings within plex to allow commerical skip. I noticed almost immediatly, the activity icon on plex that it was scanning my media. I was able to see my OTA channels through plex and also see my media as I always have. This continued briefly. Then hours after, it said my server is unavailable. Since this my server remains unavailable. I researched and went through the troubleshooting steps, my pc is online always through a wired connection, no update for plex, etc but it continues to say server unavailable. There is a yellow triangle on each of the media libraries and also on live tv, I cannot access anything. I even tried logging out and back in, reinstalling plex and logging in but nothing works to fix whats going on. I do have a antiviris but Ive always had that when running plex so I don’t believe that is associated with the issue Im having. Also, i do have a vpn, have had that for years but made sure it is not connected on this pc. I have even tried to create another server but when I browse for the drives plugged into my pc, it cant find any of them, except for the c drive. I also can access the drives and my folders, media through windows explorer and can even play a movie. This pc doesnt have any other activity except to host plex and my media libraries. I do remember around the same time, dont remember if it was after I started having issues or not that when I went to the pc, it did ask to restart and update twice so Im assuming it downloaded some windows updates. I don’t know if this if connected at all but figured I would mention it. I dont know what else to do but to reach out for help. If there is anyone that can shed some light on what to do it would be greatly appreciated.Server Version#:

The logs dont show anything obvious, Does http://192.168.1.32:32400/web load? I am suspecting a port/port forwarding issue. Did you ever try to change the port plex uses?
I didnt change anything, port wise since I first got plex working years ago. The address you wanted me to try doesnt load at all.
I went into my router settings under port forwarding and this is the info I set up years ago.
external port 47222
internal port 34200
ip 192.168.1.32 TCP
Just wanted to give as much info as possible to help trouble shoot.
Thank you for the help in trying to troubleshoot this.
I somehow got it to work by uninstalling the plex software completely on the host pc and reinstalling and logging in. upon doing this I can now see my libraries from both pcs and from fire tv and the plex app on my phone. Also, I have the local channels provided by hd homerun however now I ran into a different issue.
On the plex app on my phone I can see everything as long as im on my home network. If i turn off wifi and just use cell signal, I can access the libraries only in the recommended section. If i go to library from recommended it says that the server is unavailable. Its the same with the movie and tv show libraries. If i go into plex settings on the host pc, under remote access, it shows that plex is fully accessible outside my network. I then logged into my router settings and yes, the port is forwarded the same as it was before when I had no problems in the past. Like I said, I can access the recommended and recently addded videos and if i try to play one of those movies or shows, it plays with no issue. Its just when i go to library to view the entire library, thats when it says server is unavailable. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the plex android app but same issue exists. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Test this:
Exit Plex server using the task tray icon with the Plex logo on it (right-click on it).
Log out of your windows user account.
Restart Windows.
Log back in (if necessary).
Inspect the task tray area. Is the Plex logo there, or is it missing? Wait another minute if it eventually shows up on its own (just to be sure). If it doesn’t show up, start Plex Media Server using the regular Start menu.
Right-click on the Plex logo again and enable automatic startup.
